On the morning of June 28th, 2022, at the National Archives Center III, No. 34 Phan Ke Binh, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, FSI attended the Fifth Vietnam Archives Association Congress (term 2022 – 2027). The Congress was attended by ministries and branches directly under the Central Government and representatives of the Office of the Provincial Party Committee of 13 provinces and cities.

The prominent activities of the Association from 2016 to 2022
Experiencing a period of Covid with many difficulties and challenges, the Vietnam Archives Association still achieved positive results such as innovation and development in the work of building associations and branches. In addition, the Archives Association has renewed the thinking of the Central Committee’s operating method in implementing services in general and implementing consulting and professional support projects in particular by promoting the socialization of storage services. Thereby, the Association facilitates huge social resources to participate in the settlement of professional contents of preservation, restoration, digitalization, digital conversion, scientific adjustment, human resource training.
Stemming from reality, the Vietnam Archives Association held the 5th Congress in Hanoi to summarize the outstanding activities of the 4th term (2016-2022) and share the method and direction for the new term (2022-2027).
The Congress was attended by 134 official delegates including government leaders, ministries, departments, branches and delegates from the provincial Party Committee units, and representatives of the Vietnam Archives Business Association.
Also appearing in the event, FSI as an enterprise has made a lot of positive contributions to promoting the application of information technology in digitizing documents, storing and processing digital data for constructing and creating a digital government and digital society has been honored to become an honorary guest of this congress.
Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang highly appreciated the results that the Vietnam Archives Association has done in recent years; the perseverance and dedication of the campaigning committee, the attention and assistance of the Ministry of Home Affairs and relevant agencies have created conditions for the Association’s activities.

The Deputy Ministry of Home Affairs said that the work of archives plays a very important role in all areas of social life. Therefore, our Party and State always attach special importance to archives and archives.
