The Thua Thien Hue Provincial Digital Transformation Week 2022 program took place from August 17 to 19, 2022 was a practical activity for Thua Thien Hue to look back on the journey as well as find solutions to digital transformation problems to promote the development of the digital economy, digital society in the locality.
Digital transformation – unleashing the power of heritage-culture
As the locality with the most cultural and heritage sites in Vietnam, within the framework of Thua Thien Hue Province’s Digital Transformation Week 2022, on August 18th, the province held a symposium “Digital transformation – unleashing the power of heritage-culture”.
Representative of FSI, Mr. Nguyen Hung Son – Vice Chairman of the Digital Government Development Committee of Vietnam Software Association (VINASA), Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company chaired the seminar, along with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh – Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc – Deputy General Director of the General Department of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and related delegates.
For the field of culture-heritage, the digitization and application of 4.0 technology achievements are considered important steps to improve heritage conservation. At the same time, this will be a bridge to bring heritage and culture closer to the public, attract tourists, thereby promoting cultural values. The system of digital cultural heritages will become tourism products during the industrial revolution 4.0, contributing to the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue.

At the same session “Digital Transformation – Unleashing the power of heritage-culture to create momentum for the development of the digital economy” in the afternoon on August 18th, based on the experience of implementing many digitization projects, digital transformation of actual data at the ministries, localities, and many large corporations in the country, Mr. Cao Hoang Anh – Deputy General Director, FSI Company gave a talk on building a tourism digital data platform for the whole province of Thua Thien Hue to contribute in managing, preserving and spreading culture and heritage, increasing business efficiency of tourism enterprises.
