At the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2023, held on December 1-2, 2023, under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People’s Committee of Can Tho City, FSI partnered with Qualcomm to provide digital transformation solutions for Logistics that help optimize the monitoring of goods, ensuring the continuity and efficiency of global supply chain management.
Challenges in overcoming the “blind spots” of the global supply chain
In the supply chain, timely information is an important factor, helping stakeholders to track the status of goods, raw materials, and delivery schedules to coordinate activities seamlessly and efficiently.
However, the issue of data disruption or duplication in the transportation activities of the supply chain is a major challenge for logistics companies today.
In order to find a solution to the “data puzzle” mentioned above, along with creating opportunities for dialogue and updating information on urgent issues of logistics services in the country and the world, the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Can Tho People’s Committee organized the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2023 for two days from December 1-2, 2023.
In addition to bringing many important insights and information to the industry, the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2023 also witnessed the cooperation between leading technology companies in Vietnam and internationally to promote comprehensive digital transformation of Logistics.
The highlight of the event was the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between FSI – a top 10 provider of digital transformation services and solutions in Vietnam, and Qualcomm Vietnam – a subsidiary of Qualcomm Corporation, a leading global wireless technology innovator. As a result, FSI will become the official authorized distributor of Qualcomm’s supply chain monitoring solution in the Vietnamese market.
Sharing at the signing ceremony, Mr. Thiều Phương Nam, General Director of Qualcomm in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, said: “The technology market in Vietnam has many unique features. To grow effectively, Qualcomm wants to cooperate with companies that not only have good technology capabilities, but also understand the local market, have a good reputation and a wide customer network, and are able to deploy new technologies directly. That is also why FSI became our partner.”
The collaboration between FSI and Qualcomm brought the optimal solutions to global supply chain management
Through the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2023, the cooperation between FSI and Qualcomm has opened a new chapter in providing effective digital transformation solutions for the Logistics industry in general and optimizing supply chain monitoring in particular.
Currently, FSI’s product and solution ecosystem with over 50 products includes four main areas: Connecting data sources and creating data; Data storage; Data mining and processing; and Applying data results to operations. This ecosystem can help customers improve operational efficiency and grow their business through data-driven decision-making.
Combined with Qualcomm’s wireless technology strengths, the FSI ecosystem will be supplemented with the Qualcomm Aware Platform, a smart supply chain monitoring solution. The platform uses multiple methods at the same time, such as GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks, for extreme accuracy and performance in different environmental conditions (outdoors, indoors, in containers, etc.).
In addition to tracking the location of objects, Qualcomm Aware Platform can also track the indicators of objects such as temperature, humidity, light, pressure, falling, and tilting. These indicators are very important for goods in sectors such as agriculture, frozen food, medical supplies, high-value goods, etc.
The new solution ecosystem is expected to help logistics companies reduce goods loss, ensure asset safety, and save time and cost in many warehouse operations and order processing activities.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyễn Hùng Sơn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FSI, said: “FSI always wants to expand our partner network to complete the ecosystem of multi-industry digital transformation solutions, helping to solve data mining problems for customers. With the addition of solutions from Qualcomm, FSI will help logistics companies truly leverage the value of data. No matter what stage a company is at in its data journey, we can meet their needs.”
Also at the event, FSI signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) on the provision and deployment of the Qualcomm supply chain monitoring solution into the logistics supply chain process of VNR’s multimodal logistics services, including transportation between North and South, interprovincial and cross-border.
With the digital transformation solutions for Logistics presented at the event and the strategic partnership with Qualcomm, FSI reaffirms the commitment to partnering with agencies, organizations, and businesses, providing leading modern services and technologies, and promoting successful digital transformation for multiple industries.
